Jenna's love is in the department of Art and Sciences. Jenna has a special place in my heart as she is one of my Desk Crew. They always hang by my desk and make me feel loved all school year. Daniel Stabile is one of my senior's at Xavier College Prep High School. He ran track and went to CIF three years in a row. He also played football and made some school history this year. He will be attending the University of Redlands where he will be playing football and majoring in the Pre-Healthcare profession Program. Welcome Amanda Cardinal my Senior from La Quinta High School. What can one say about this beauty. Well she is one smart cookie....She is the choir club president, on the girls robotics team that competes at global competitions and has competed on the cross country team for the last four years. Amanda's top colleges are Pepperdine, UCSB, and Oklahoma state. She plans on majoring in mechanical engineering or broadcasting/ communications. Welcome the Haven family. If you ever wondered what super mom and super dad look like, these two are pretty close. They have four boys who are the cutest ever but did I mention 4 boys...yep! These super parents managed to get it all together and meet at the Living Desert Reserve for a quick shoot. We managed to have a little fun and capture some cute shots...Goal accomplished...I was so honored they asked me to be there. It is a memory that will not be forgotten.

Ruby came ready to go this afternoon. With no nap in the pictures we weren't sure how her birthday shoot was going to go. Well no nap seemed to be the key for this cutie pie because she was an angel. Scheduled a photo shoot obviously not thinking temperatures would change like they did so quickly in July. Five lil kiddos dressed in their best at 8:30 AM with temperatures at 110 were ready for the camera to do it's thing. These lil guys were troopers as we all were drenched within minutes. Lil Jaxen gave us a run for our money but this lil guy came out of his shell and gave me some cute smiles. The two mom's of these cute lil cousins went to school with me twenty years ago at Palm Desert High. Amazing to imagine it's been that long but enjoyed every minute on our shoot. Welcome Leslie, Barbara, Natalee, Kendra, Nick, Jacob and Jaxen to the center stage.....

Center Stage Dance Performance 2013

A friend of mine asked If I could stop by dress rehearsal to snap a couple shots of her daughters performance at the McCallum Theatre. As I entered the room, the performance had already begun. Being a dancer for 20 years, I was in a trance. It brought back so many memories for me on point. My camera took over and I decided to shoot each performance. Palm Desert Swim Team All Star Meet 2013

As I arrived at the Palm Desert Aquatics Center we weren't quite prepared for the 300 plus swimmers awaiting at the pool. With temps around 116 degrees my assistant and I pushed through making sure we stayed for every heat that Palm Desert participated in. It was so awesome to watch swimmers with years of experience down to swimmers who could only cover one lap across the pool. Palm Desert did a great job against 5 other teams. Welcome the Palm Desert Swim team to the deck.....

Victoria's shoot was quite the venture. We traveled from the Palm Desert area all the way to deep Indio. Some laughs as quick changing took place down to following ourselves because the GPS pinged her phone in the car after an hour in the Home Depot parking lot. We still managed to get some beautiful shots of her and had a great day doing it.

We certainly missed no part of the Coachella Valley traveling from Palm Desert through La Quinta and finally ending up at the Empire Polo Club. It was a perfect day with the sun shining bright for some fantastic pictures. Couldn't have asked for a prettier venue when we arrived up at the La Quinta Resort. Flowers blossomed from one end of the property to the other.
